Rules of thumb while you're here: lawn top-dressing is ~10 mm deep, new garden beds want 200–300 mm of mix, and a one-tonne bulk bag holds roughly 0.6 m³ of soil.

Enter the area and depth — we’ll convert it to cubic metres and bulk bags (a soil bulk bag holds ≈ 0.6 m³).
Common Perth jobs, pre-calculated
For quick planning: a 50 m² lawn top-dress at 10 mm needs ~0.5 m³ (one bulk bag). A 5 m × 1 m garden bed filled 250 mm deep needs 1.25 m³ (about two bulk bags). A raised vegie bed 2 m × 1 m × 400 mm is 0.8 m³ — one generous bulk bag of vegie mix.
Why bulk bags beat a loose load for most jobs
Under about 3 m³, bulk bags win on every axis: no pile killing the lawn, no sweeping the street, exact quantities, and the leftover keeps clean in the bag. Our delivery partner cranes them where access allows; a ute or trailer carries one comfortably for click & collect.
